The nights are getting darker and at Dylan and Grace we’re considering putting the heating on so Autumn must be well and truly here. But there’s still fun to be had and below we’ve listed our top 5 things to do in Autumn.
1) Blackberrying – Who knew crawling around in prickly bushes could be so much fun, plus there’s the added bonus of a blackberry crumble at the end of your hard work.
2) Conker Fights – crack open those horse-chestnuts and get your conkers ready for the annual autumn cocker fights. There’s also an old wives tale that if you put them in the corner of your house it keeps the spiders away! Continue reading
Feeling a little Easter egged out we decided some fresh air and exercise was definitely needed to stop us going pop. Not least because I’m sure we’ll manage a little more Easter egg before bedtime!
We plumped (note the chicken and therefore egg reference!) for a walk around a fishing lake about a 15 minute drive away. We drove through Continue reading
Armed with our homemade easter gift baskets we searched high and low for the goodies, the boys not doing quite so well as the girls in the finding stakes. It took a while as the easter bunny had hidden some of them very well but once we had found everything we shared out the treats.

Christmas came early here at Dylan and Grace last weekend, we dug out the Christmas tree, dusted of the ornaments and did a Christmas gift photoshoot to show off some of our new product and get you all in the mood for the festive season.
Our 6 and 8 year olds had a fabulous day checking out the autumn range, helping to stage the shots and modelling for the photos. Our new images will be up on the site soon but in the meantime here are the childrens top 3 lines from the day;
Our New Spotty and Pirate Sailing Yachts
Hours of fun was spent racing these across the village pond and despite a small disaster when one got stuck in some weeds (a big stick and a big child rescued the situation). They were the favourite of the day.
Anything that involves mud and insects makes our little boy very happy!
Fairy Princess Cupcake and Cookie Party Set
Pretty, princesses, pink and involves cake – what’s not to like!
Take a look and let us know which your favourites are, we’d love to hear from you.
We are lucky enough to have had the most beautiful scavenger hunt we have seen shared with us.
If you have an afternoon free and are wondering what to do with it, go on a beautiful scavenger hunt. We did and all the children loved it. You’ll be amazed with the things you find to tick off your list.
Take a look and if you’ve seen anything better yourself, we would love to see it! Continue reading
